As a seasoned musician, I bring a wealth of experience from my recent teaching role at the IB World School, Albanian College Durrës. In establishing curricula for the MYP and PYP programs, I focused on a student-centered approach, aligning with IB principles. I actively participated in prescribed courses to enhance program implementation.
My musical journey extends beyond the classroom, where I've performed a variety of genres, including Jazz, Bossa Nova, Swing, Afro-Cuban, and classical music for middle and high school audiences. My mission as an educator is to cultivate a strong sense of community, instill confidence, and promote teamwork.
I am eager to contribute my knowledge, gained through years of study and mentorship, to engage students in singing nursery songs, playing percussion instruments, and exploring various wind and brass instruments. By incorporating diverse musical genres such as classical, jazz, swing, and modern music, I aim to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the artistic world, especially in the realm of music.
Yearning for an international teaching environment, I look forward to collaborating with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds. Taking initiative, I envision organizing concerts for school events, fostering a vibrant cultural exchange.
